VONTRON Ultra-low pressure membrane element XLP series

Product Introduction
The XLP series is an ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide composite membrane element for desalination of surface water and groundwater newly developed by Vontron Technology. It can achieve the same high water flux and high desalination rate as conventional low-pressure membranes under extremely low operating pressure conditions. Its operating pressure is about 1/2 of that of conventional low-pressure composite membranes, and the desalination rate can reach 98.0%. This reduces the investment costs of related equipment such as pumps, pipelines, and containers and the operating costs of the reverse osmosis system, improving economic efficiency.
Application Scope
The XLP series membrane elements are generally suitable for the treatment of low-salinity water sources with low requirements for desalination rate, such as surface water, groundwater, tap water, and municipal water with a salinity of less than 1000 ppm. They are especially suitable for the second stage desalination of two-stage reverse osmosis. They are mainly applied in various fields such as various scales of purified water, boiler feed water, food processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
